Analyse and interpret results from power system simulation software to develop appropriate and robust electrical design schemes. Knowledge of primary equipment, such as GIS, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, instrument transformers, power transformers, VT, PT etc. - Knowledge of design and tech parameters of HT transformer (up to 220 KV) including type tests and RTCC panels. - Use creativity wherever appropriate to provide best solutions for the given situation within the framework of tender continuously develop standard templates and databases for tender engineering. - Vendor Offer Evaluations. FAT / SAT of primary equipment, system as and when needed. - Broad understanding of Protection and Control (PC), SCADA, Telecom, Tele protection, as well as substation design. - Knowledge and exposure on protection functions for electrical power transmission lines, power transformers, insulation coordination study. - Designing protection and control schemes(C&R) for series compensated lines. - Knowledge on analysis of fault records and fault annunciations from protection relays, substation control and protection systems, SAS, SUS panels and SCADA.
