As a Service Engineer for Solar Inverters located in Ahmedabad, you will collaborate with service managers to troubleshoot and repair PV inverters, as well as commission new equipment to enhance customer satisfaction through high-quality service and professional conduct. We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, motivated, and well-organized, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement to meet and exceed expectations. Your role will involve working as a technician on Solar Inverters for PV Plants and other systems, closely collaborating within a team of Service Experts. Your main responsibilities will include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and analyzing solar inverters, documenting and reporting site visits and service calls, adhering to site safety procedures, developing a detailed knowledge of Power Electronics products, and performing electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on solar inverters. In addition, you will be required to travel within a 1-6-hour drive radius, including travel to various parts of India and abroad. Continuous training on current and new products, application of technical knowledge gained from training, conducting on-site safety audits, managing inventory of parts in the region, and performing site audits as needed are also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a high level of electrical and mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting abilities, along with 2-5 years of experience in power electronics, preferably in Solar Inverters or Renewable energy equipment. Previous experience in utility-scale solar/wind installations, troubleshooting PV systems, and grid-tied inverters is preferred. You should be passionate, rigorous, and dynamic, with a willingness to share knowledge and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Key skills required include excellent prioritization, organization, analytical, and planning skills, outstanding communication and customer service abilities, flexibility, customer focus, team spirit, and the ability to travel frequently within the region and globally with short notice. A Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is necessary for this role.,
