ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN

Job Description: You are an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Your primary responsibility will involve the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of operations. Your key responsibilities will include performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on various electrical and instrumentation systems, inspecting, repairing, and calibrating control equipment, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and industry standards. Additionally, you will be involved in assisting with the installation and testing of E&I equipment, maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, and providing support to operations to minimize downtime effectively. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation or a closely related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in E&I maintenance and troubleshooting within the oil and gas sector. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems, control instruments, and safety protocols, as well as the ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals accurately. Experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems will be considered advantageous, and your problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail will be highly valued in this position.
