Electrical and Industrial Automation Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer in Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for developing and refining electrical design documentation for automation systems across various industrial applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and modifying electrical design drawings using AutoCAD - Preparing wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules for control systems - Collaborating with project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with client specifications - Supporting the integration of electrical designs into automation systems - Assisting in documentation for installation, testing, and commissioning - Maintaining version control and design standards across projects - Coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for design-related inputs To qualify for this role, you should have: - Diploma or B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering - 12 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation - Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory - Working knowledge of EPLAN is an added advantage - Strong understanding of electrical and control systems wiring - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications - Good communication and documentation skills Preferred attributes for this position include being detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams, and familiarity with industrial standards and safety regulations.
