Electrical and Electronics

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Design and develop high-density, high-efficiency power electronic converters, including AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters, as well as inverters and motor drives.

Circuit Simulation and Analysis: Perform detailed circuit simulations and analyses using tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and PLECS to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.

Component Selection and Magnetics Design: Select appropriate power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN), passive components, and design custom magnetics (inductors, transformers).

PCB Layout and Thermal Management: Oversee the layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for power electronic circuits, ensuring optimal placement for performance and thermal management. Design and implement effective thermal solutions.

Control Systems Development: Develop and implement control algorithms for power converters and motor drives using microcontrollers, DSPs, or FPGAs.

Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to validate designs. Develop and execute test plans to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Collaboration and Documentation: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers. Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and test reports.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations for safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI).
