Your primary responsibility will be to conduct various NDT Tests On-Site following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). It is essential to have a thorough understanding of the relevant equipment and the applicable procedures. Your duties will include performing the following tests and maintaining accurate records: Concrete Inspection: Utilizing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and rebound hammer testing to evaluate the quality and uniformity of concrete, detect voids, cracks, or delamination, and determine the thickness of concrete elements. Steel Inspection: Conducting Ultrasonic Testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT) on welds, bolts, and steel components to identify defects like cracks, lack of fusion, or inclusions. Weld Inspection: Employing NDT methods such as radiographic testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) to examine welded joints for defects, discontinuities, or improper fusion, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of welded connections. Structural Health Monitoring: Utilizing NDT methods like acoustic emission (AE) testing and vibration analysis for continuous monitoring of structural integrity to detect early signs of damage, fatigue, or deterioration in buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. Material Characterization: Using NDT techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), and thermal imaging to assess material properties, identify anomalies, and verify material composition in construction materials like concrete, steel, and composites.
