As a Devops engineer, you will be an integral part of a development team delivering high-quality features for exciting next generation NGINX SaaS products. Job brief The Security Operation Centre (SOC) Information Security Analyst are the first level responsible for ensuring the protection of digital assets from unauthorized access, identify security incidents and report to customers for both online and on-premises. The position monitors and responds to security events from managed customer security systems as part of a team on a rotating 24 x 7 x 365 basis. They are alert and aggressive to filter out suspicious activity and mitigate risks before any incident occur. Your background should include exposure to security technologies including firewalls, IPS/IDS, logging, monitoring and vulnerability management. You should understand network security practices. Document processes and maintain knowledge base articles in Confluence Requirements: - Solid working experience with production grade Terraform & Kubernetes (AKS preferred) 3-6 years of Software engineering, DevOps or related experience Experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar tool, such as Chef/Puppet/Azure CLI/CloudFormation etc for building IaC (Infra as Code) pipelines Strong experience with developing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc. Experience with (Git-based) source code versioning tools and VCS (GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab) Experience with programming using PowerShell, shell, python or any language will be a plus. Strong desire to automate tasks and improve how people think and work with technology. Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) Proven success in implementing infrastructure automation solutions on a large scale, to include on-premise datacenters Skill to utilize tools and services such as Terraform, Azure-DevOps, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible, Shell/Powershell scripting, Nagios, Docker, OctopusDeploy, Nexus, Vault, Elastic Stack, AppDynamics for alerting/monitoring, and troubleshooting them. Major pluses: Kubernetes, Docker, and Elasticsearch Bachelors degree in computer science or any relevant field Any Cloud/DevOps tool certifications will be a huge plus.
