Job Description – Front Office Executive Location: Eka Lyf Inn, Coimbatore Position: Front Office Executive Department: Front Office / Guest Relations Reports to: Front Office Manager / Hotel Manager About Eka Lyf Inn Eka Lyf Inn is a contemporary and comfortable stay destination in Coimbatore, committed to delivering exceptional hospitality, personalized services, and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Role Overview The Front Office Executive will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm, professional, and efficient guest experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage front desk operations smoothly. Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet guests with courtesy, ensuring a pleasant first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately. Handle reservations, cancellations, and room allocations using the property management system. Maintain guest records and ensure all data is accurate and up to date. Address guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly with professionalism. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Handle billing, invoicing, and cash/credit transactions responsibly. Ensure the lobby and front desk area are presentable and well-organized at all times. Assist in promoting hotel services, facilities, and special offers to guests. Adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and safety/security standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Front Office Executive / Receptionist in the hospitality industry (1–3 years preferred). Proficiency in MS Office and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, IDS, or equivalent). Excellent communication skills in English. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and positive attitude. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
