Role Overview: As a Frontend Engineer at Eka.care, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-quality user interfaces. Youll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver features that are functional and delightful to use. Key Responsibilities: Develop responsive and user-centric web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into high-quality frontend solutions. Implement efficient state management techniques to optimize application performance and ensure scalability. Utilize Typescript to enhance code quality, maintainability, and developer productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Dive deep into existing codebases and libraries, enhancing and optimising where necessary. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence. Contribute to the documentation of frontend architecture, design patterns, and development standards. Requirements: Proficiency in JavaScript and React; solid understanding of HTML and CSS. Proven experience developing frontend applications with Tailwind, Next.js, and build tools like webpack, Vite.js. Solid understanding of state management concepts. Proficiency in Typescript for building robust and type-safe frontend code. Ability to build features from scratch, focusing on modularity and scalability. Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques, including code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
