You will be responsible for PCB design engineering tasks within the Engineering Department at Systel, Inc. Your primary duty will be to utilize Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematic capture, with at least 7 years of experience handling PCBs up to 10 layers. Proficiency in Altium Designer version 19 or higher is required, along with expertise in managing components and supplier issues including updating component libraries. Knowledge of standard PCB layout guidelines such as trace-to-trace voltage ratings, layer stack ups, and signal integrity is essential. Effective communication with various departments in the organization is crucial, both verbally and in writing using tools like Microsoft Office. You will work on prototypes during the Product Development Cycle, capturing data for documentation and design changes. Additionally, you will conduct testing and configuration of product prototypes in the Engineering Lab. Involvement in Quality Processes, understanding System Level Procedures, and compliance with standards like ISO, 9001, ASTM, ANSI, and EIA are part of your responsibilities. The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, along with 7 years of experience related to PCB design and layout. Behavioral competencies such as excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, creativity, accountability, time management, and ethical conduct are essential for this role.
