Role & responsibilities - Should know the working principles of automotive sensors, actuators, EGR valve, ECU / ECM, Controllers interface, dashboard cluster. - Should know Starter motor and alternator validation process. - Understanding of Automotive wiring harness drawing. - Trouble shooting Electronic Fuel Injection system. - Software awareness INCA, VISU, Peak CAN, CALTERM. - DTC (Diagnostics Trouble Code) calibration / verification / validation. - Awareness of microcontroller and its interfaces with sensors and actuators. - Should know CAN bus protocol. - Awareness if CRDi and MPFI fuel injection system.
