Job Summary: We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable and secure cloud architectures for a variety of client needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, excellent technical expertise, and a proven ability to guide complex cloud transformation projects. Key Responsibilities: Design, architect, and implement cloud-based solutions that meet client requirements for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Lead cloud migration initiatives, including strategy, planning, and execution, while minimizing risks and downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, DevOps, product management) to design and deliver cloud-based solutions. Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud technologies, platforms, and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). Ensure cloud architectures are designed with high availability, disaster recovery, and robust security measures. Develop cloud strategies, technical roadmaps, and solution proposals tailored to business needs. Provide thought leadership and stay up-to-date on emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices. Conduct cost analysis and optimization strategies to manage cloud costs effectively. Mentor and guide teams in implementing cloud solutions, providing hands-on technical leadership. Maintain and enhance documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 27001). Participate in client-facing meetings, presenting technical solutions, and managing client expectations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in cloud solutioning, architecture, and deployment. Proven expertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity, and access management (IAM), and encryption techniques. Experience in cloud migration, hybrid cloud solutions, and multi-cloud architectures. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures. Expertise in designing scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient architectures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think strategically. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in cost optimization strategies and billing management on cloud platforms. Authored and reviewed technical sections of RFP responses, including solution overviews, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, support models, and SLAs. Prepared optimized Cloud Cards / Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost models in alignment with scope and budget constraints. Preferred Skills: Certifications in Cloud Architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, OpenShift Architect). Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.). Proficiency in networking, databases, and storage in the cloud. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
