As a Biomedical Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve approving new equipment through conducting tests, ensuring compliance with codes, and making necessary modifications. Additionally, you will be tasked with overseeing the operation of biomedical equipment by delivering equipment operation demonstrations, providing guidance to other healthcare staff on equipment usage and maintenance, and addressing any related queries. Your role will also entail the preparation of detailed biomedical reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and trends. It will be crucial to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending and adhering to procedures, offering training to medical personnel, and ensuring compliance with regulations and codes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating requirements, placing orders, expediting deliveries, and confirming receipt. Keeping a detailed complaints log and addressing issues promptly either independently or by coordinating with vendors will be essential. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be required to maintain the Biomedical asset register, installation reports, downtime log, service reports, and history cards. Ideal candidates for this position should possess skills such as documentation proficiency, information analysis, creating a safe environment, infection control, training management, familiarity with lab environments, clinical lab testing expertise, confidentiality practices, equipment calibration, sterilization techniques, and strong conceptual skills. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund. The job may require working in rotational shifts, and the preferred candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The work location will be in person.,
