Key Responsibilities: Advise students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies. Assist in developing individualized academic plans based on students’ interests, strengths, and career goals. Monitor students’ academic progress and provide intervention strategies when necessary. Conduct one-on-one and group advising sessions. Refer students to appropriate campus resources (e.g., tutoring, mental health services, career services). Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and academic progress. Support at-risk students through academic probation, suspension appeals, or special support programs. Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to identify and address student needs. Participate in orientation programs, workshops, and academic planning events. Stay informed about academic programs, institutional policies, and best practices in academic advising. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
