As a Science Education Mentor at Prayoga, your primary role is to facilitate the transformation of schools to adopt experiential learning of science. You will achieve this by mentoring and supporting teachers, collaborating with the Principal, Management, and education department. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that every science learning session is experiential for students starting from class 6. You will provide support to teachers in planning and preparing for classes with an experiential teaching approach. Working closely with the Principal and Management, you will ensure timely information and support are available to teachers and students. As the main point of contact, you will coordinate all activities on behalf of Prayoga with specific schools as per the academic plan. Additionally, you will collect and maintain relevant data for educational research from classroom activities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, or any engineering graduate/B. Ed completed. Good interpersonal and observation skills are essential, along with proficient written and verbal communication in English and Kannada. Basic computer and internet skills are required, and a willingness to travel is expected. Training will be provided on various aspects, including adding experiential learning in schools, experiential learning pedagogy, working with Management & Principals to facilitate the learning process, using educational tools for observation and data collection, academic planning, and classroom management.
