Educational Consultant (Sales)

As an Educational Consultant at Scholastic, you will be responsible for the sales and promotion of Scholastic Books through various channels such as Book Fairs, Clubs, Libraries, and Educational institutions in your designated locations. Your key responsibilities will include visiting schools within your assigned region to represent Scholastic, meeting with educators to introduce and promote Scholastic and its range of school-based programs, explaining and advocating Reading Programs to educators, establishing and nurturing relationships with schools, promoting sales through Book Fairs, Book Clubs, Education, and other school-based initiatives, understanding schools" requirements, and suggesting and implementing strategies to meet their needs. You will also be overseeing the end-to-end execution of school-based programs and must be willing to travel extensively within the city. To qualify for this role, you should hold a graduate or post-graduate degree in any stream. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to articulate effectively, think creatively, and be comfortable visiting up to 5 schools in a day.
