Location: Kozhikode, Kerala / Bengaluru, Karnataka Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Experience: 0-5 years (Freshers with relevant qualifications may apply) Education: Bachelors or Masters in Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP) Salary: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications) Job Summary: Orange Child Development Centre is looking for a skilled and dedicated Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, and communication disorders. The therapist will work closely with children, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to improve communication abilities and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children. Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for children with conditions such as speech delays, articulation disorders, stuttering, apraxia, autism-related speech challenges, and swallowing disorders. Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques. Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, child psychologists, and special educators to create holistic intervention plans. Educate and guide parents, caregivers, and teachers on home-based speech therapy techniques and strategies. Maintain detailed case records and progress reports. Conduct workshops and awareness sessions on speech and language development. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in speech therapy. Required Skills & Qualifications: BASLP/MASLP (Bachelors or Masters in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) from a recognized institution. Valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) certification. Experience in treating children with speech delays, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other communication disorders. Strong knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) techniques. Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory): Certification in PROMPT, Oral Placement Therapy (OPT), PECS, or LSVT. Experience working in child development centers, hospitals, or schools.
