As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating video content using original and repurposed footage. You will collaborate with teams to understand their needs and specifications, develop and review scripts, and work with raw materials to produce high-quality videos. Your tasks will include trimming footage segments, assembling sequences, adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, as well as creating rough and final cuts. A key aspect of your role will be ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions in the videos. You will engage with stakeholders from various teams to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency in your work. To excel in this position, you should have proven work experience as a video editor and be proficient in using digital technology and editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut. A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills is essential, along with familiarity in special effects, animation, 3D, and compositing. Your creative mindset and storytelling abilities will be valuable assets in this role. Fluency in Assamese and Hindi is highly desirable for effective communication. This is a contractual role that extends until April 2026. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in video editing and must possess an editing machine or desktop to fulfill the requirements of the role.,
