GD Academy, a leading institute in Manjeri, is currently seeking a creative and skilled Reel Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing engaging Reels and short-form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube Shorts. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, editing style, and be knowledgeable about social media trends. Your responsibilities will include editing and producing compelling video content, adding music, transitions, captions, and effects to enhance the videos, collaborating with the marketing and content team to develop creative video strategies, staying updated with trending editing styles and social media algorithms, as well as managing video storage, backups, and version control. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Video Editor with a focus on Reels and short-form content. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Final Cut Pro is required. You should possess a strong sense of creativity, attention to detail, and timing, along with knowledge of social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is essential. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in an academy, media house, or digital marketing agency, as well as knowledge of graphic design tools like Photoshop and Canva. This is a full-time position based in Manjeri, with a salary range of 12,000 - 20,000 per month depending on experience. While 1-2 years of experience is preferred, freshers with strong portfolios are also encouraged to apply.
