Role & responsibilities Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product suitable for distribution Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects Create rough and final cuts Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other stakeholders Apply color grading and sound design where necessary Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and trends Maintain an organized video library and backup system Preferred candidate profile Portfolio or showreel of past editing work Experience with 2D/3D animation (optional but a plus) Knowledge of copyright and fair use in media editing
