Position Summary: NBN Sports is hiring a Video Editor & Producer — someone who can shoot, cut, polish, and elevate sports content across formats, platforms, and moods. From quickfire reels to longer-form episodes, IP trailers, behind-the-scenes content, or high-performance motion stories — you’ll be the engine behind how we bring our content to life on screen. You should be able to take charge of our full video pipeline: from rough cuts and clean edits to sound, transitions, text overlays, and more. You’ll also support on-ground shoots, prep gear when needed, and collaborate with creators, athletes, and editors across multiple campaigns. We're looking for someone who’s deep into sports , understands the rhythm and intensity of sport-led content, and who brings a sharp sense of music, movement, pop culture, and platform behavior. This role is hands-on , and you’ll work closely with the Content and Strategy teams to bring creative visions to life. Job Duties (Other Duties as Assigned): Edit high-quality videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more — across short-form, long-form, and mixed media formats Collaborate with the internal content and strategy teams to translate briefs into sharp visual stories Work across various formats — interviews, montages, trailer-style cuts, docu-style episodes, campaign content, etc. Own the full post-production workflow: syncing, editing, audio mixing, colour correction, transitions, text design, soundbeds, etc. Organize, manage, and archive footage from shoots and creator submissions Assist in planning and executing small-to-medium-scale shoots (camera, sound, lighting setup) Stay updated with sports moments, creator trends, memes, music drops, and global content styles Work across vertical content (reels, shorts, stories) and horizontal (YouTube episodes, recap edits, pitch decks) Incorporate feedback from internal teams and partners to refine and finalize edits Support development of recurring video content IPs with motion-first thinking Manage timelines and output across multiple projects at once Be on-site for athlete or creator shoots when needed Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certifications): 2–3 years of experience in video editing and production; sports or youth-culture content is a big plus Solid grip on editing tools — Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Knowledge of basic shooting gear — DSLR/mirrorless cameras, mics, lighting, etc. Experience working with music, pacing, cut styles, and mood boards that suit sport-centric content Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok content behavior A deep personal interest in sports — active playing, close following, or creative work in the space is highly preferred Familiarity with meme formats, cultural trends, audio styles, and athlete/creator ecosystems Highly organized, deadline-driven, and proactive — with the ability to handle multiple cuts simultaneously Bonus: experience in motion graphics, thumbnail design, or creative scripting Please include a showreel, portfolio, or video links with your application.
