Role Overview: As an Engineer of the Digital Solutions team at Hitachi Energy PowerGrids, you will be a part of the Operation Center in India (INOPC-PG). Your primary goal will be to contribute to the development of a global value chain, facilitating the sharing of key business activities, resources, and expertise across geographic boundaries to enhance value for Hitachi Energy PowerGrids customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Support clients globally in optimizing maintenance policies and increasing equipment availability. - Configure Substation models in the advanced Digital platform and analyze systems to develop efficient Reliability-based maintenance plans. - Serve as a liaison between clients and the R&D team, engage in project deliveries, and aid in product releases for the development team. - Assist clients in troubleshooting, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment malfunctions, and propose solutions to prevent further deterioration. - Integrate systems with various platforms using protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish unified data pipelines and scalable edge-to-cloud architectures. - Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by demonstrating accountability for your actions, along with showing care for your colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - Holds a degree in B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of Substations and Power plants with expertise in network communication in RTU and Scada. - Demonstrates self-starter capabilities to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion. - Possesses strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
