Role Overview
Ecoste is looking for a skilled Edge Banding Machine Operator to join our production team. The selected candidate will operate edge banding machines to apply veneer, PVC, ABS, or other edge materials to furniture components, ensuring high-quality finishes and smooth production workflows.

Eligibility

• ITI certification or technical training in machine operation (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience operating edge banding machines in furniture/woodworking manufacturing.
• Proficiency in handling various edge materials (PVC, ABS, veneer) and adhesives.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and adjust machine settings (speed, pressure, temperature) for precise applications.
• Strong attention to detail to inspect edges for smoothness, adhesion quality, and defect-free finishes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for machine-related issues (e.g., glue application, trimming adjustments).
• Commitment to safety protocols (handling sharp tools, machine guarding, and chemicals).

Job Responsibilities (JD)

• Operate edge banding machines to apply edge materials to furniture components (plywood, MDF, particleboard) as per technical specifications.
• Load and adjust edge materials, adhesives, and trimming tools for seamless application.
• Monitor machine performance, ensuring correct alignment, glue application, and trimming accuracy.
• Inspect finished products for defects (gaps, uneven edges, poor adhesion) and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning glue residues, replacing blades, and lubricating parts.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily targets and maintain material inventory.
• Strictly follow safety guidelines during machine operation and chemical handling (adhesives, solvents).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,556.89 - ₹27,489.90 per month
