Role Overview: As an EDD- Engine Simulation Engineer at Hero MotoCorp, your purpose-driven role involves applying engineering principles and technical core competencies to advance the application of air cooled, oil cooled, and water cooled product portfolios. You will be responsible for 1D simulation of thermodynamic performance, acoustics, and transmission/vehicle systems simulation to meet functional requirements for the vehicle. Additionally, you will lead and develop a small team of engineers and utilize standardized toolsets for engine, transmission, and vehicle deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct 1D simulation of thermodynamic performance and acoustics of the ICE, along with supporting powertrain systems - Lead and develop a small team of engineers focused on best-in-class delivery - Utilize standardized toolsets such as GT-Suite, AVL (BOOST), and Ricardo (WAVE) for engine, transmission, and vehicle deliverables Qualifications Required: - B. Tech. / M. Tech. degree - Experience in 2W / 4W 1D & 3D simulation of thermal & structural systems - Proficiency in modern toolsets such as GT-Suite, ANSYS, ABAQUS, ADAMS, AVL, and Ricardo Additional Details of the Company: Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the past 22 years.
