ECU Software validation Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the creation, specification, and verification of all internal work products assigned to you. Your primary tasks will include writing software test cases in compliance with coding guidelines and requirements, implementing test concepts, and maintaining various work products such as Software Test Cases, Design Specifications, and Test Reports. Key Responsibilities: - Develop test cases for all levels to ensure software requirements are met - Monitor proper execution of defined safety mechanisms - Create test cases for software-software and hardware-software integration levels - Review test cases against quality criteria, document defects, and track them to closure - Execute software verification on all test levels and document results - Verify embedded software and calibration data readiness for production release - Adjust test specifications and cases to mitigate defects found in reviews or analysis - Develop and enhance the test environment for designed test concepts - Possess knowledge of ASPICE process for effective testing Qualifications Required: - Experience in HIL environment or similar setup - Knowledge of technology and software for calibrating, coding, diagnosing, and using control devices - Familiarity with Vector (CANoe) products - Understanding of automated software test frameworks such as ECU Test and Robot - ISTQB certification is a plus Additional Company Details: The company values your expertise in decision-making for test execution sequences and the authority to reject unclear, contradictory, or untestable requirements.
