As an Elixir Developer with 2-3 years of experience, you will be based in Saket, New Delhi. We are looking for someone who can join immediately or within a maximum of 30 days. Your key responsibilities will include working with the Elixir/Phoenix Framework, with a minimum of 8 years of experience, and proficiency in either Ruby or Erlang. You should also have experience in testing, particularly focusing on Postgres/Ecto Database on the database side, and Node, TypeScript, VueJS, and React on the frontend. Experience with CI/CD tools and previous exposure to logistics or supply chain domains will be advantageous. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Elixir applications and backend systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions is essential. You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Furthermore, performing code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and reliability, implementing automated tests, and participating in continuous integration and deployment processes are crucial aspects of the role. Optimizing application performance and scalability to meet business needs and user expectations will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in Elixir and functional programming is encouraged. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Elixir Developer or in a similar role is required. Strong proficiency in the Elixir programming language and the Phoenix framework, experience with functional programming concepts and paradigms, knowledge of OTP principles and concurrency models in Elixir, familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, and experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web service technologies are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently are also necessary.
