As part of the Investment Research team, you will engage in macroeconomic research, analysis of Indian markets, and collaboration with global research teams. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth macroeconomic research and analysis on Indian markets, focusing on fiscal, monetary, and external sector developments. - Track and interpret key economic indicators and policy announcements. - Utilize large datasets to generate insights, develop economic models, and forecasts. - Prepare research reports, presentations, and commentary on market developments for internal and external stakeholders. - Maintain and update economic databases using tools like Bloomberg, Haver, World Bank, CME, and official statistical sources. - Collaborate with global research teams on cross-country and thematic research projects. Qualifications Required: - Advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in macroeconomic or equity research, with a focus on Indian markets. - Strong quantitative and mathematical skills, including handling large datasets. - Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and econometrics; familiarity with Python or R is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear research content. - Experience with financial databases like Bloomberg, Haver, and others is highly desirable. - Progress toward CFA or FRM certification is advantageous.
