Economics & Policy Research Annotator

About the Role

This role focuses on evaluating economic reasoning, policy arguments, impact assessments, and causal logic. You will annotate policy datasets, verify reasoning chains, and ensure alignment with data, models, and official sources.

Responsibilities

• Review economic and policy content for accuracy and validity
• Verify multi-step reasoning and identify logical gaps
• Check model interpretations, causal inferences, and data claims
• Validate policy recommendations against official sources
• Flag misinterpretations, incorrect assumptions, or unsupported statements
• Ensure clarity, consistency, and rigorous reasoning in outputs

Skills & Experience Required

• BA/MA in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or similar
• Research internship or project experience preferred
• Strong understanding of causal reasoning, empirical methods, and data literacy
• Ability to evaluate policy claims and economic frameworks
• Excellent critical thinking and interpretation skills
