We are focused on consistent quality, ethical manufacturing, and on‑time delivery. Role Summary This role owns the final quality checkpoint after Stitching and before export packing. The QC Supervisor will lead a team to perform 100% inspection of every bag, ensure proper finishing, pressing, handle folding, polybagging, and carton packing, while driving rework closure and maintaining clear daily reports. Cutting department responsibilities are not in scope for this role. Key Responsibilities Supervise post‑stitching QC flow: receipt from Stitching, checking, inverting, trimming/snipping, finishing, pressing, handle folding, polybagging, carton packing. Enforce 100% inspection of every bag prior to packing. Check for loose threads, mis‑stitches, seam integrity, thread tension, dimension/tolerance, squareness, handle attachment/reinforcement, fabric defects (stains/holes/weaving flaws/shade variation), label/barcode/hangtag accuracy, and print quality (if applicable). Ensure finishing standards: invert bags, trim threads, remove lint, maintain clean presentation; press per fabric to achieve flat seams without shine/marks. Follow packing standards: no body folding (handles folded inward only); create bundles of 5 or 10 as per order; place fixed quantities (varies by SKU/size) into clear polybags with correct labels/barcodes; pack a fixed number of these polybags into cartons and verify carton markings and packing list. Segregate non‑conforming pieces; send to rework; re‑inspect 100% of reworked items; authorize rejections. Maintain QC documentation: post‑stitch check sheets, finishing/pressing records, packing checklists, final inspection logs, carton audit records. Publish daily MIS: received from Stitching, inspected (100%), passed, sent for rework, rejected; top defects and corrective actions. Coordinate with Stitching/Printing to prevent repeat defects; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA for post‑stitching issues. Train QC checkers/finishers on SOPs, defect classification, measurement methods, and buyer standards. Maintain 5S and safety in checking, finishing, pressing, and packing areas; ensure tools/templates are available and accurate. Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Textile/Garment Technology or equivalent practical experience. 4–7 years QC experience in sewn products; bags/totes or garment finishing/packing preferred. Strong knowledge of post‑stitching controls (measurement, seam/handle integrity, finishing, pressing, export packing) and AQL concepts (we typically apply AQL 2.5 for major defects; Critical = 0; Minor as per standard) while running 100% final inspection. Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for daily reporting. Languages: Hindi and English required; Gujarati is a plus.
