Job Title: Eco Design Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Eco Design Expert to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in integrating environmental considerations into the design and development of our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that sustainability principles are embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) to assess the environmental impact of products and services.
• Identify and evaluate eco-design principles and apply them to new product development.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize the environmental footprint of products throughout their lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in product sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, procurement) to ensure sustainability considerations are integrated into product development processes.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on eco-design principles and sustainability practices.
• Monitor and track progress on sustainability goals and targets.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in eco-design, sustainability regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental engineering, Sustainable Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in eco-design, sustainability, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and tools.
• Experience in applying and evaluating eco-design principles to product development.
• Knowledge of sustainability regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive environmental impact.
