We are looking for an experienced and versatile Cathlab / Echo Technician to join our team at the Asian Heart Institute. This role involves a combination of cardiac stress testing, ECG, and echocardiography expertise with Cathlab operations, ensuring seamless patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities - Conducting Echo, Stress Test, and ECG Operations - Perform patient assessments, explain procedures, and ensure informed consent. - Prepare patients for ECG, treadmill stress tests, and echocardiography, including proper electrode placement and vitals monitoring. - Monitor blood pressure at rest and during each exercise stage. - Manage stress machine consoles and maintain detailed patient records. - Collaborate with consultants to utilize diagnostic data effectively for patient care. - Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control protocols. - Cathlab Operations - Prepare Cathlab machines and procedure rooms for cardiac interventions. - Assist with patient transfers from trolleys to Cathlab tables. - Support the chief technician in operating the Cathlab machine and recording ECGs and pressure tracings. - Hand over reports, recorded CDs, and test results to relevant departments. - Coordinate stock management with the nursing team, ensuring accurate billing for procedures. - Maintain consignment item checklists and report equipment issues or temperature variations. - Follow up with inventory usage reports and adhere to infection control protocols. - Safety, Compliance, and Development - Participate in routine staff training, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) recertification. - Ensure adherence to all safety, compliance, and clinical risk management policies. - Foster teamwork through clear communication and customer-centric care delivery. - Maintain continuous professional development through workshops, training, and seminars. Qualifications - Degree/Diploma/Certification in Cardiology Technology, Radiology Imaging Technology, or as a Cathlab Technician. - Strong knowledge of ECG interpretation, pressure tracings, and sheath removal techniques. - Technically proficient in using Cathlab machines, stress testing consoles, and IABP systems. An ER Nurse, or Emergency Nurse, is in charge of providing healthcare to patients who urgently need treatment so that they can stabilize their vital signs and limit pain and discomfort. Their duties include identifying the needs of a patient, filling out charts and intake paper and collecting information and samples quickly to run necessary tests.An ER Nurse duties and responsibilities are focused on giving timely care to their patients. In a fast-paced environment. ER Nurse have the responsibilities of: Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness Immediately stabilize incoming patients Administer medication as instructed by physicians Start intravenous lines, and assist on broken bones Perform tracheotomies and intubations Give patients stitches and sutures Create and maintain incoming patient records Work with team of emergency staff to help patients Help transfer stable patients to necessary Wings as advised by Consultants. Required Candidate Profile: Should have completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery / Bachelor of Science - Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. Current Nursing License, in good standing with the State Licensing Board [Karnataka Nursing Council]. Desired Experience and Skills: Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Emergency / Casualty. Compassionate personality, soft spoken and always willing to help others. Good listener and with a bilingual ability (Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Coorgi / Kodavatak, Malayalam). Knowledge of emergency hospital procedures, critical care unit infection control and hygiene policies. Hands-on experience in caring patients at ER and Triaging. Proven ability to multitask and work calmly but efficiently in sensitive environment of Emergency / Casualty department.
