As a US Audit Senior in the Commercial Audit team at Citrin Cooperman, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS standards at our Ahmedabad office. Your role will involve preparing and analyzing financial statements, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting and reporting standards in the United States. You will play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up processes, developing time budgets, and managing audit requests to meet client deadlines. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct independent research on US GAAP and US GAAS, mentor and supervise junior staff members, and foster strong client relationships through positive interactions. To excel in this role, you should hold a CPA (or be in the process of obtaining one) or a CA qualification with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm. Strong verbal and written communication skills, responsiveness to US offices, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively are essential qualities for this position. Your industry exposure should include experience in Commercial audits, as well as EBP/NFP/HUD audits. Demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are crucial. You should approach projects with a sense of urgency, possess outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, or IDEA would be advantageous.
