We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and assisting in key areas such as statutory audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting . The role requires a strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, direct and indirect taxation, and corporate regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Statutory Audit: Assist in planning and executing statutory audits for clients or the organization. Perform detailed audit procedures including vouching, ledger scrutiny, stock verification, and asset verification. Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and documentation in line with SA (Standards on Auditing). Coordinate with auditors, respond to queries, and ensure timely completion of audits. Draft audit reports in accordance with CARO and applicable accounting standards. Taxation: Direct Tax: Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for individuals, firms, and companies. Assist in Tax Audits (Form 3CA/3CB and Form 3CD). Compute advance tax, TDS, and self-assessment tax liabilities. Support during income tax assessments and respond to notices from the IT department. Indirect Tax (GST): File GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, etc.) on time. Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase records and rectify mismatches. Assist in preparation and filing of GST refunds and responses to notices. Support GST audit processes and maintain documentation. Compliance: Ensure timely filing of statutory returns under the Companies Act (ROC filings – AOC-4, MGT-7, etc.). Handle TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q), and issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A). Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and other labor laws if applicable. Assist in maintaining statutory registers and records as per company law requirements. General Accounting & Support: Support month-end closing, account reconciliations, and journal entry postings. Assist in preparation of MIS reports, financial statements, and internal reports. Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning. Requirements: CA Inter (both groups or at least Group I cleared). Completion of 3 years of articleship training from a reputed CA firm Experience required in CA Firm Only. Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Income Tax, GST, and the Companies Act. Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and any ERP system (e.g., SAP/QuickBooks). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or in a team.
