The Back Office Support Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in mutual fund transactions and stock broking activities. The role involves handling trade settlements, compliance, data management, client servicing support, and coordination with front office, exchanges, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities 1. Mutual Fund Operations Processing client investments, redemptions, SIP registrations, and switches. Coordinating with AMCs (Asset Management Companies), RTAs (like CAMS/Karvy/KFintech), and custodians. Monitoring NAV, units allocation, and reconciliation of holdings. Generating reports on portfolio transactions, commissions, and trail income. 2. Share Broking Operations Trade confirmation and contract note generation. Handling pay-in/pay-out of funds and securities. Reconciling client demat accounts with NSDL/CDSL records. Supporting margin management, risk reporting, and settlement obligations. 3. Compliance & Reporting Ensuring KYC, FATCA, and AML guidelines are followed. Maintaining records as per SEBI and Exchange regulations. Preparing daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for management. 4. Client & Internal Coordination Assisting relationship managers and dealers with transaction status. Resolving client queries related to account statements, fund transfers, and holdings. Coordinating with auditors, custodians, and regulators during inspections. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of mutual fund products, broking operations, and financial markets. Familiarity with RTA platforms (CAMS, KFintech), NSE/BSE systems, and demat operations. Good understanding of compliance norms (SEBI, AMFI, Exchange rules). Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and back-office software. Attention to detail, accuracy in reconciliation, and analytical skills. Effective communication for client servicing support. Qualifications Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field. NISM certification (Mutual Funds, Equity Derivatives) preferred. 1–5 years of experience in mutual fund operations, broking, or financial services back office.
