Responsibilities of Lamitubes Operators Machine Operation & Setup Operate lamitube heading, capping, or packing machines as assigned. Carry out machine start-up, shutdown, and changeovers as per SOP. Ensure correct parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, alignment) are set before production. Production Monitoring Continuously monitor tube quality (diameter, length, print, shoulder, cap fitting). Detect defects such as delamination, smudges, or misprints. Ensure line efficiency and minimize downtime. Quality Control Support Perform in-process checks as per standard test procedures. Segregate and record rejected material. Report abnormalities to supervisors or QC immediately. Material Handling Load raw materials (ABL/PBL laminates, caps, masterbatch, inks, adhesives) correctly. Maintain material traceability (batch numbers, usage logs). Prevent wastage and handle materials with care to avoid contamination. Maintenance & Safety Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of machines. Report breakdowns or mechanical issues promptly. Follow all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines, including PPE usage. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily production records (output, downtime, rejection, consumption). Ensure compliance with GMP and ISO standards. Assist during audits by providing accurate operational data. Teamwork & Coordination Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, and Supervisors for smooth production flow.
