As a Procurement and Expediting Specialist for Electrical parts in the Rooftop, C&I, SME, and Rural Solar segments, your responsibilities will include sourcing Inverters, Busduct/cables, SCB/SMB, Transformers, NFIPS, Transmission lines, Switchyards, Meters, SCADA systems, Weather monitoring systems, PPC, PE Modelling, Fire Detection systems, MC4 connectors, Street lighting, Earthing materials, UPS, CCTV systems, VFD-based devices, and Battery Energy Storage systems. You will collaborate with the Business and Engineering teams during the Pre-bid stage by managing the cost analysis of electrical parts. Your role will involve developing new suppliers in various regions to meet the increasing business demands. Building strong relationships with senior vendor representatives will be crucial in ensuring effective procurement processes. Reading and interpreting SLD/Drawings/Specifications will be essential for preparing Should Costing/Zero Based Costing for negotiation purposes with suppliers. You will lead the RFQ preparation, manage contractual/commercial documents, oversee Techno-commercial Bid management, and conduct Reverse Auctions/Manual Negotiations. Post PO award, you will be responsible for expediting commercial milestones, proto/engineering approvals, tracking raw materials/bought out materials ordering and supply, manufacturing, inspection, shipment, and delivery in alignment with PO and Project requirements. Collaboration with project planning and project teams to meet delivery timelines will be a key aspect of your role. You will attend supplier review meetings, either onsite or virtually, to ensure timely deliveries within the agreed lead times. Implementing cost reduction initiatives and managing supplier relationships effectively will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B-Tech/BE degree in Electrical/Electronics with 10-15 years of experience in power sector electrical parts procurement. Proficiency in analytical tools like Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is required, and knowledge of SAP is desirable. Strong communication skills, result-oriented mindset, ability to manage conflicting priorities, autonomy, and team management skills are essential. Additionally, possessing sound commercial knowledge and experience in negotiating large contracts will be advantageous.,
