Role & responsibilities Attend to periodic and breakdown maintenance of all equipment and machinery. Identify critical parameters and design a checklist to ensure periodic inspection and smooth operation. Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams to facilitate the monitoring of daily and weekly maintenance activities EAM Implementation. Train operators to maintain equipment by cleaning, oiling, and greasing it. Diagnose faults, repair them, and return equipment to operational service Study the historical pattern of failures and accordingly incorporate a mitigation plan into the PMMS checklist. Conduct a Root Cause Analysis and promote a culture of change to eliminate operational malpractices. Identify critical spares based on lead times, price, and delivery, and maintain adequate inventory levels. Optimize equipment maintenance costs. Ensure 100% use of required PPEs Adhere to Work permit system. Adhere to MOC system Managing and reporting safety incidents. Ensure Cleanliness and orderliness Reduce mean Time between Failures (MTBF) and reduce cost of maintenance. Track all expenses directly related to equipment. Identify performance indicators for effectiveness of PPM in terms of failure reduction and cost of maintenance. Maintain historical records of equipment/vessels. Coordinate with OEMs for AMCs and enhance effectiveness of AMCs.
