POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager - Vendor Operations is responsible for developing and managing the Vendor base, Business Partners, Cab Drivers, and Vendor Teams across all locations of EFS operations. This role works closely with the Director(s) and other leadership members to execute the company's strategic vision and ensure Red Taxi continues to remain the market leader in the cab aggregator industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Vendor & Relationship Management Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, cab drivers, and business partners across Coimbatore. Collaborate effectively with the Call Center & Dispatcher Teams, Customer Support, Vendor Support, and Yard Team to ensure smooth end-to-end operations. Lead onboarding, evaluation, monitoring, and retention activities for vendor partners. Implement effective feedback mechanisms to identify and resolve issues proactively. Participate in formulating workflow processes, methods, and policies for vendor selection Ensure vendor compliance with company standards, statutory requirements, and vehicle documentation (RC, FC, permits, insurance, etc.). Maintain updated records with zero lapses. Operational Leadership Oversee smooth day-to-day vendor operations within Coimbatore. Monitor cab rental and attachment operations and recommend process improvements. Effectively resolve grievances raised by vendors, drivers, and customers. Identify opportunities to optimize internal team structure, workflow, and operational efficiency. Ensure sufficient cab supply during peak hours, seasons, and route-specific demand. Plan and execute supply forecasting in coordination with Operations and Dispatch. Manage and resolve vendor payment and settlement escalations promptly, ensuring accuracy in payouts and maintaining trust with partners. Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize vendor payouts, reduce operational leakages, and improve driver productivity. Business Development & Market Expansion Explore and develop new business opportunities and revenue streams within the Coimbatore market. Strategize marketing and business development activities such as tie-ups with dealers, showrooms, and other partners. Lead and monitor lead generation activities to drive conversions. Conduct regular market analysis and implement proactive strategies to maintain RedTaxis leadership position. Frequent field visits within Coimbatore and nearby locations to monitor vendor performance, relationships, and operational compliance. Performance Management Track, measure, evaluate, and report team and vendor performance using established KPIs. Troubleshoot vendor-related issues, analyse root causes, and provide corrective/preventive actions. Lead transformation and improvement initiatives within the vendor operations team. Job Specification: Graduate in any discipline; post-graduate qualification preferred. 08 to 12 years of experience in Sales & Marketing (products/services), preferably in cab aggregator, e-commerce, BPO, or hospitality industries. Proficiency in English and Tamil (spoken and written). Experience in leading operational teams and transformation initiatives. Should have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and should be able to exercise professional Judgement and make decisions swiftly. Should possess good personal values such as integrity, honesty, and good ethics.
