We are looking for a highly analytical Solution Architect with a strong background in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management solutions to join our Professional Services Team in India. Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, you will apply your knowledge and experience to solve real world customer business problems throughout the solution design while identifying new opportunities. Your technical expertise and business acumen will be essential to build long-lasting relationships with customers and drive solution adoption. The Solution Architect supports process transformation and product development by bridging the specific business problems (and issues) to the technologies that support them. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise system designs in SAP and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. Own and maintain the overall integrated solution architecture for supply chain execution systems for transportation and logistics. Manage and develop architecture for a broader scope of projects, working closely with application architects that manage and design architecture for a single project or initiative. Provide support to portfolio architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture. Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models. Analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation and innovation). Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from future to current state (as defined by the solutions architecture). Consult with application and infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate the solutions architecture. MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Prior experience in organizations leveraging SAP ECC or S/4 as its ERP Experience in Consumer Products considered an asset Highly proficient in SAP ECC – Shipping, SAP ECC – Logistics Execution, SAP ECC – Transportation; S/4 Basic Shipping. Experience in industry leading Transportation management (TMS) Systems (SAP TM, Blue Yonder, e2Open/BluJay, etc.) Experience with Real Time Transportation Visibility Platforms (e.g. FourKites, project44) Process depth and breadth within supply chaining execution including but not limited to Transportation Planning and Execution and Delivery Order Management. Application Portfolio Management (APM): Hands on experience implementing APM with one or more leading EA tool would be an asset. LeanIX experience is an asset. Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps). Experience in key technology domains including Cloud, Containers, API, Events, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, Data and AI. Be an excellent communicator and collaborator, engaging with multiple technical and business stakeholders and leaders. Collaborates with other architects at the Architecture Review Board (ARB) KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES: Ten or more years of experience designing and leading creative architecture solutions Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience in multiple architecture domains (business, information, technology, application, infrastructure, security) and are proficient in generating technical roadmaps and architectures to lead architecture concepts. Proven track record as a Solution Architect in the realm of supply chain management or related domains. Profound knowledge of supply chain processes inclusive of procurement, supply chain planning, logistics, distribution and transportation. Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. Architecture experience in Agriculture and food manufacturing is considered an asset. A certification in enterprise architecture such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is considered and asset. A professional certification as an architect with an industry-recognized organization.

The Opportunity Capgemini is seeking a Sr Director level executive to Deliver business critical supply chain services to our clients, continuously improving on the quality and effectiveness of the processes. This includes supply chain processes such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Master Data Management, Customer Order Management, Material Planning, Distribution Planning and Supply Chain Analytics , and also Sales-related processes (also known as Customer development processes). Advanced knowledge would be a plus. Strong business acumen and execution experience in supply chain process and systems Strong decision making, problem solving, communication and presentation skills Very good judgement skills and ability to solve unstructured problems with assumptions. Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural teams spread across geographies.
