Job Description: E-commerce Executive (Fashion House)
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or related fields.

Proven certification or training in e-commerce platform management is a plus.
Preferred Age Range:Experience:Minimum 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations in the fashion industry, with demonstrable skills in product cataloguing, website management, and social media customer engagement.Theme of the Role:

  • Manage and maintain an organized, accurate, and visually appealing online product catalog across e-commerce platforms.
  • Oversee timely updates of product listings, descriptions, pricing, and inventory status.
  • Ensure smooth website functionality, regularly auditing for performance, content accuracy, and user experience improvements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and messages on Instagram and other social media channels, enhancing customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to coordinate digital sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on key e-commerce performance metrics, customer behavior, and feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in digital marketing activities as required, including content creation and analytics tracking.

Key Deliverables:

  • Up-to-date, error-free, and attractive product listings on all online platforms.
  • Responsive and consistent customer communication on social media channels.
  • Weekly and monthly reports on e-commerce performance and customer engagement metrics.
  • Seamless website operations with minimal downtime or technical issues.
  • Support of marketing campaigns through coordinated online content and sales efforts.

Must-Have Competencies:

  • Proficiency in managing popular e-commerce platforms such as Ajio, Nyaaka, etc.
  • Strong design sensibility and understanding of fashion trends and aesthetics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction and internal collaboration.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic technical knowledge of website content management systems (CMS).

Desired Competencies:

  • Familiarity with designing tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies (SEO, SEM, email marketing).
  • Ability to analyse web analytics and customer data to drive improvements.
