Role Overview We are looking for hands-on and technically sound Service Engineers with 1 to 5 years of experience - who can test, debug, and repair advanced power electronics products such as EV chargers, battery swapping systems, inverters, and other such power electronics systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, and test equipment, along with a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities • Test and troubleshoot power products like EV chargers, inverters, and DC-DC converters at board and system level. • Use test and diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, clamp meters, LCR meters, and other lab tools. • Read and interpret electronic schematics, layout drawings, and datasheets to identify issues in circuitry. • Identify and replace faulty semiconductor components such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, transistors, diodes, etc. • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and reliability checks on products. • Support field deployment and customer service requests, including on-site troubleshooting and repair. • Prepare detailed service and diagnostic reports for internal and external communication. • Coordinate with design and R&D teams for feedback and product improvements based on field issues
Job Description: We are looking for a Power Electronics Lead Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in designing power conversion systems for clean energy applications like EV's, Renewables and Energy Storage products. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership in design & development of power conversion products from scratch Lead both the software group and hardware group in design, development and production phase Define processes for testing and validation of both hardware and software. Expertise: Experience in design of power converters for both high power and low power. Deep understanding of thermal management and mechanical design of Power conversion products. Proficient in Embedded C, Application Software and Base Software development and state-machine developement for Power Conversion Products. System modeling and control loop design for Motor Control Knowledge of magnetic design (inductors and transformers) for high switching frequencies. If you have worked on Magnetics for WBG is a plus Proficiency in simulation and design tools (MATLAB, PSpice, LTspice). Expertise in Auto Code generation tools like Altair/ Matlab and Model Based Design is a Plus. Deep understanding of communication Protocols like CAN, RS485, UART, MODBUS etc Working experience on Soft Switched topologies like Resonant Converters and DAB Expertise in Automation of Power Converter testing is a plus
