Job Description

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role will involve actively aiding the consulting team in various phases of the project. This includes problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be responsible for exploring alternatives to recommended solutions through thorough research, which may include literature surveys, public domain information, vendor evaluations, etc. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing proof of concepts (POCs). Your duties will also include creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining to-be-processes, and detailed functional designs as per the requirements. You will be supporting the configuration of solution requirements on products, diagnosing any issues, identifying root causes, seeking clarifications, and shortlisting solution alternatives. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with the aim of providing high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers. If you possess the ability to work with clients to identify business challenges, refine, analyze, and structure relevant data to contribute to client deliverables, as well as an awareness of the latest technologies and trends, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaboration capabilities, then this role is suited for you. Moreover, you should be able to assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and suggest technological solutions.
