Job Summary:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop customizations, integrations, and extensions in D365 F&O using X++, .NET, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain data entities, workflows, reports (SSRS), and batch jobs.
• Perform system integrations using OData, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reduce regression issues during deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in D365 F&O environments.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
• Support data migration and data management activities.
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations.
• Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 features and updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O technical development.
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, Application and Platform layers, workflows and development framework.
• Strong proficiency in X++ and Visual Studio.
• Experience with LCS (Lifecycle Services) for managing environments, deployments, issue tracking, application lifecycle management, Azure DevOps, and version control systems.
• Knowledge of D365 F&O data model, architecture, and extensibility framework.
• Understanding of role-based security architecture in D365 F&O, including security roles, duties, privileges, and how to configure them for custom scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with the SysOperations Framework for creating scalable and asynchronous business processes.
• Experience in performance tuning of D365 F&O applications, including query optimization and resource usage analysis.
• Experience with integrations using Power Platform, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS, and data migration tools (DMF).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, and other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
