The Mechanical and Electro-mechanical Centre of competence Department for 2-Wheeler & Powersport product is currently seeking a Design Engineer based in Pune, India. This position aims to support growth in design and development activities within the 2-Wheeler & Powersports department. As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with various teams including design, production, system, suppliers, quality, and customers. Your responsibilities will involve working on ICE & electrified projects, designing and developing products, implementing value engineering activities, analyzing product issues, preparing design drawings, managing change activities, and integrating and validating systems/products/technologies. Key qualifications for this role include 2 to 5 years of experience in Design Engineering (automotive sector experience is a plus), a minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, familiarity with engine systems, air modules, and ECUs, expertise in design validation, 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation using Creo, and the ability to work in a cross-discipline environment. The position requires advanced English proficiency, strong communication skills, customer orientation, and the capacity to work autonomously.
