As an Air Quality professional, you will work closely with Earth, Environment, and Ecology teams in WSP India on global projects. You should have experience in sectors like Transport, Civil Infrastructure, Water, Properties & Buildings, focusing on assessing air quality impacts from industrial and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting air quality assessments, preparing technical reports, analyzing hazardous material data, and working with multidisciplinary teams. You will be expected to undertake air quality assessments by applying appropriate analysis and evaluation based on relevant guidance and policies. This will involve working under the supervision of senior staff in specialty domains like dispersion modeling, stack height determination, and monitoring data analysis. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports, analyze data of hazardous materials, and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate should have a background in Environmental Sciences & Technology with at least 4+ years of experience. Desired skills include experience in dispersion modeling, odour assessment, dust management, GIS proficiency, scripting, and data analysis tools. You should be client-centric, detail-oriented, resilient, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and dispersion modeling software such as R, Microsoft Excel, ArcMap, AERMOD, CALPUFF, and coding skills like VBA, Python, SQL, and scripting skills would be advantageous. A Master's degree in Environmental Science and Technology or Environmental Engineering with a focus on Air Quality is required, along with membership of a relevant international professional body. Previous experience in global consulting organizations is preferred. Overall, you should be results-oriented, able to work effectively in a team, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively across different levels of the organization and with external stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-cultural teams, delivering project outcomes, and maintaining professionalism in client interactions and scientific community engagement.,
