Role & responsibilities Overall application IT point person for customers, IT community, and other constituents in and outside organization. Lead all operational, service quality, and work status meetings relating to product service delivery. Work with the user community to develop service levels, assist in scoping functional enhancements, and manage expectations. Ensure all aspects of changes that can affect service quality are properly communicated, tested, trained, approved, etc. Assume a key role in demand management & prioritization processes as they relate to prioritizing, tracking, and implementing work requests. Ensure processes and documentation are written and UpToDate to enable training, operational support, test scripts, problem-management, escalation, disaster recovery, root cause analysis, etc. Serve as the primary application contact with IT community including Security, business-facing IT leaders, vendors and 3rd parties to represent application. Participate in evaluating elements of the application’s life cycle as it relates to ever-evolving technology standards and business conditions. Negotiate times for planned outages to reduce risk while supporting system stabilization efforts. Ensure that training is conducted as necessary so that users can fully understand existing/new configuration, business rules, and features. Support management’s efforts to standardize processes and procedures across IT and the corporation globally and adhere to the same. Raise awareness of new application needs, recognizing opportunities to leverage resources and applications. Ensure that new functionality is within guidelines, mainstreamed Corporate IT solutions by engaging the COE at all appropriate times. Enforce requirements to register business needs through review boards. Establish strong vendor relationships to ensure smooth workflow by setting standards and monitoring for improvements in shared accountability and capabilities, and resolving conflicts and performance issues, while escalating operational failures and adverse trends in operational performance. Responsible for information security and compliance Responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity planning Responsible for driving continuous improvements and innovation. Responsible for 24x7 365 support, able to work in Shifts if needed covering global regions. Skills, Education and Experience Overall, 10 + years of experience, at least 6 years of relevant functional configuration experience with specialization in MFG SAP PP QM with Finance understanding Strong Knowledge of integration with Make to Order, Order Management, Accounting, Plant Maintenance applications, Warehouse & Logistics Management, shipping & transportation, Billing, GTS etc. SAP PP or QM certification is preferred Candidate needs to have at least 3 SAP implementations in MFG/QM S4 HANA system experience is preferred Should have at least 4 yrs of domain manufacturing experience Expertise in Handling Tickets, Enhancements using tools. Also have experience in solving Tickets within SLA. Skilled in problem solving, able to transform the business request to an IT solution Passionate about SAP, Willing to learn and develop professionally Leadership Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills Managing externally contracted team resources. Ability to work with cross functional workstreams and global teams Technical Competencies Full cycle implementations of SAP modules Experience working with Vendors, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles Well versed with ITIL processes of problem management, incident management and change management.
