Role Overview: As a Maintenance/Material Management Engineer at Prumatech, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining materials in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries. Your role will involve materials cataloguing, data standardization, duplicate resolution, and preparation of bill of materials. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient maintenance processes and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing engineering drawings, datasheets, parts lists, certificates, and manufacturer catalogues - Collaborating with vendors, manufacturers, inventory, and warehouse teams to review project spares parts interchangeability records (SPIR) - Expertise in material specifications within the respective discipline and knowledge of international and industrial standards such as ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, and BS - Proficiency in material management in ERP systems, particularly SAP, and skills in handling large volumes of data, data cleansing, duplicate identification, and resolution - Proficient in IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, and Access database Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical - Minimum 10 years of experience in Maintenance/Material management in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries - Minimum 5 years of experience in materials cataloguing, data standardization, data enrichment, duplicate resolution, and bill of materials preparation Additional Company Details: Prumatech offers a salary as per market standards and is located in Chennai.
