Role: Service Desk Manager Job Description: The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Java/Microservices/Mainframe with skills in the following areas: Backend: - Proficiency in Server-side Framework Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC - Knowledge of Microservice Architecture, Rest API Design - Experience with Unit Testing Framework, Junit, Mockito - Ability in Performance Tuning & Profiling using Visual VM, JMETER - Familiarity with Logging, Troubleshooting tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, Kibana, Cloud Watch Database: - Familiarity with Relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySql, Postgres, DB2 - Understanding of Nosql databases like MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB Cloud Platform, Deployment, and DevOps: - Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms including AWS (ECS, EC2, Cloud front, Cloud Watch, S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB), Redshift, RDS - Proficiency in DevOps tools like Docker containers, SonarQube, Jenkins, Git, Github, Github-actions, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform Mainframe: - Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2 (Advance SQL skills), Alight COOL - Familiarity with tools like Xpeditor, File-Aid (Smart-File), DumbMaster (AbendAid), Omegamon, iStrobe/strobe Roles & Responsibilities: - Ensure the architectural needs of the value stream are met effectively - Implement design principles to build robust and scalable software solutions with minimal client adoption effort - Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategy and execution - Manage risks, dependencies, and troubleshoot problems proactively - Engage with other Architects in Architecture COP and ARB - Take ownership of Performance & Non-Functional requirements - Share knowledge with other engineers in the value stream - Translate program PI objectives into value stream PI objectives - Assess and enhance the agility level of the program/value stream Competencies: - Client Centricity - Collaborative Working - Learning Agility - Problem Solving & Decision Making - Effective communication Mandatory Skills: Technology (Alight IT) Experience: >10 YEARS Join us at Wipro and be a part of our journey to reinvent the modern Wipro.
