Our commitment to excellence has made us a trusted name in the industry. Role Overview We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to expand our business in the Eastern India region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, developing vendor relationships, and driving sales growth while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role requires travel within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities ● New Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers who have not previously engaged with Dugar Tubes Pvt. Ltd. ● Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure continued business growth. ● Vendor & Mill Development: Establish relationships with mills and suppliers in the Eastern region to expand our product offerings. ● Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including creating quotations and following up on inquiries. ● Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand into new industries and markets within the region. ● Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets for the assigned territory. ● Payment Follow-Up: Ensure timely collections from customers. ● Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the head office. ● Product Knowledge Development: Continuously enhance knowledge of steel pipes, tubes, and related industry trends. ● Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitors to develop strategic sales initiatives. ● Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, logistics, and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications & Skills ● Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Com or equivalent preferred). ● Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales, preferably in the steel pipes & tubes industry. ● Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); intermediate knowledge of Tally. ● Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. ● Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. ● Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently as well as in a team. ● Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel extensively within the Eastern region.
