ob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pre-Insulated Duct Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pre-insulated ducts used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work with various tools and materials.Key Responsibilities:Fabrication and Assembly: Cut, shape, and assemble pre-insulated ductwork according to specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.Material Handling: Select and prepare materials, including pre-insulated panels and sheet metal, for fabrication.Tool Operation: Operate and maintain various hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in the fabrication process.Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, project managers, and installers, to ensure seamless project execution.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials used, production times, and any issues encountered during fabrication.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any fabrication issues or defects in a timely manner.Qualifications:Experience: Proven experience in duct fabrication, particularly with pre-insulated ducts.Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Tools and Equipment: Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards and practices in the fabrication industry.Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.Preferred Qualifications:Certification: Relevant certifications in duct fabrication or HVAC systems.Education: Technical diploma or degree in a related field.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
